  • Specialization as an athlete

I would call myself a roadrunner with some love for trail running. As for what distance, still discerning that and letting God lead me into places that are uncomfortable and stretch me physically and mentally.

  • Personal Bests

1 mile PR 4:53. 2:54 for 26.2 miles. The longest run, 46 miles in the Grand Canyon (14ish hours of joy).

  • Specialization as a coach

I've really come to love coaching at every distance (1 mile to 26.2), with most of my time spent coaching 5K and marathon runners. My coaching philosophy meshes well into all the other distances.

  • College

    NAU

  • Certifications

    Certified personal trainer.

  • How did you start running?

I enjoy running for the simplicity of moving my body through space. At times, it's an outlet to relieve stress and other times to bring stress to the body. I have been able to understand what it takes to stay mentally and physically sharp during really hard workouts/ life challenges from the last 10 years of running. Therefore, giving me a blueprint on how to get the best out of myself and that excites me to dream big. Most importantly I'm here to glorify God with my athletic ability He has gifted me with and bring others into that light of freedom and gratitude.

  • Tell us an interesting fact/something fun about you?

I lived in Mexico for about 5 years. My first language is Spanish.
