    My journey has been the opposite of many runners, I spent the majority of my 20s and 30s as an ultra runner, with the peak being 2200 miles on the Appalachian Trail in 2014. Now, in my 40’s, I have shifted to a track and 5k focus.

  • Specialization as a coach

    I have a lot of experience coaching individuals who have never run before, seeing them run 5k to marathon to ultras. I have also coached top high school track and XC athletes. My specialization in coaching really comes in helping individuals figure out what goals they want to go after, and walking alongside them as a coach to help them achieve those goals, no matter the distance or ability level.

  • How did you start running?

    In my early 20’s, I thought it would be cool to run a marathon. Then I met some crazy ultra runners, and I was hooked. These days I like to make my self hurt running circles around the oval with fast high schoolers!

  • Tell us an interesting fact/something fun about you? 

    The first 5k I organized was in a remote village in Uganda called Namuwombi, where Amy, Malachi and I lived for 2 years. The winner ran in jeans and no shoes.
